The Toolbox

“Give yourself to reading . . . You need to read. Renounce as much as you will all light literature, but study as much as possible sound theological works, especially the Puritanic writers, and expositions of the Bible.”

Charles Haddon Spurgeon

As a pastor who still works a separate, full-time job in order to support my family, I’m still working on building my personal “toolbox” (library), which is obviously a slow process as my financial priority is to provide for my family (1 Tim. 5:8).

Through the years, friends, family, and church members have expressed that they’ve desired to purchase books for me but were hesitant to do so because they didn’t know if I already owned the book. Others have kindly purchased books for me (very expensive ones!) only to discover that I already owned them, so I created this page as a way of allowing others to see the books I currently have in my library and those I hope to acquire in the future.

You can click here to view my current library, here to view what I hope to add to my physical library, or here to view what I’d like to add to my Logos Bible Software library in the future. If you’re inclined to help add to my pastoral/shepherding toolbox, thank you so much for your kindness. Please pray that it would lead to “fruitful labor” (Phil. 1:22).
